I can't say enough about what a great job Hien did! I was one of those brides who did not think I needed a wedding planner. But about a month before my wedding, I took a friend's advice and decided to get a day of planner.
Looking back, I don't know why I didn't enlist her help sooner. It would have definitely alleviated a lot of stress. Hien helped us put together a timeline, and walked us through all of the little details we hadn't even thought about.
When it came to the day of our wedding, she made sure everything went as planned. Even when things didn't go as planned (our limo broke down), she stepped in and handled the situ. She played such a vital role in making sure we were able to actually enjoy our ceremony and reception. Even numerous guests commented on what a great job she did. Thank you Hien!

My husband and I have attended a ton of weddings and have been able to observe many wedding coordinators in action. We were looking for a lot of things in our coordinator particularly someone that could get things done without being a drill sergeant, someone that was familiar with El Cortez and their strict policies and most importantly, someone that could run the day smoothly on their own while letting us enjoy the day.
What was great about Hien is that she did all of these things and more. What was really helpful for us were the many detailed meetings prior to our wedding where she got to know us as a couple and discussed plan B scenarios. On the day of our wedding Hien took care of everything and we were truly able to sit back and just enjoy the day. The only time Hien talked to us was to usher us to our next location/event. After our wedding we found out that some things were changed on our wedding itinerary, but everything ran so smoothly we didn’t even notice. Hien took care of it all without letting us in on the stress from the changes.
One of our guests even told us that when he was looking lost she went right up to him and helped him get just what he needed; he really appreciated her insightfulness.

Artful Affairs offered to help us out as a month –of /day-of coordinator because our other wedding coordinator found out that her sister was graduating from college on the morning of our wedding.
Thank you again for such a wonderful, amazing job! I am soooooooooo glad you offered to help us out. You were fantastic! I am a worrier by nature, and it is pretty incredible that I didn't have to worry about anything during my wedding or reception was wonderful - which is how it should be.
Hien confirmed with all our vendors, showed up early to make sure everything and everyone was where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there, ran around constantly to fix any little problems that popped up - example: the caterer forgot the coffee and the coffee pot wasn't heating properly. The only time I heard of it was when Artful Affairs asked if it was okay for her associate to go purchase coffee. When I returned from my honeymoon, I also found out that she'd called the caterer, explained the situation, and got a refund for the coffee pot. I did not have to do anything!
She also made sure everyone signed the marriage license. I would hate to have gone through all of that and then not even really been married!
I really can't say enough about how helpful she was, how calm during the last frantic days of the planning, how good she was about making sure that my then-fiancé and I were on the same page about how things were going to happen. There is no way I would have enjoyed my wedding day as much as I did if she hadn't be there to help.
We really do appreciate all the hard work Artful Affairs put into our wedding. Our day stayed special for us, because we were able to experience our wedding and reception instead of having to handle and run our wedding and reception.

Artful Affairs and Hien Tran created a lifetime memory for my mom Rachel E. and our family!!!! We celebrated our "big mama's" 80th birthday last saturday and SHE HAD A BALL! Hien made sure the food, drinks and fun were flowing from beginning to end!
Mama walked into her slideshow and started screaming before she looked around to see that over 90 people were there to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Almost four hours of happiness Hien provided the best venue, food and the extras for our mama!!!! Hien's creativity was felt from the wish tree where guests could fill out cards with birthday wishes and hang from a tree for all to see...to the slideshow with almost 50 years of photos and memories!
I highly recommend ARTFUL AFFAIRS if you want an event that leaves a wonderful lasting impression for all!

Artful Affairs was great! I decided to get one for day of wedding help last minute and Hien was able to come through for me at a great value. She was always professional and was great with handling last minute changes. She took control of any issues and all the little details I didn't want to be bothered with during the event.

There are so many things that come up during the day of that you just don't think about and shouldn't be dealing with. Let your wedding planner deal with it!
